Motorbike, car or taxi over WhatsApp, in your town
In many Colombian towns, getting a motorbike, car or taxi ride depends on crowded WhatsApp groups or calling someone you know. Omniride takes ride requests to where people already are: WhatsApp. Passengers write, choose their vehicle and get an identified driver, with photo and plate, plus an emergency button during the trip. Drivers receive only their own offers in an app built for the street, and passengers pay them directly. Pre-registration is now open for drivers and passengers across Colombia.
What hurts?
In Colombia's mid-sized cities and towns, getting a motorbike, car or taxi ride often depends on crowded WhatsApp groups, calling someone you know, or waiting on the street. The big apps arrive late, ask you to download, register a card and learn a new interface, and passengers don't always know who is picking them up.
How we solve it
Omniride takes ride requests to where people already are: WhatsApp. Passengers write, choose their vehicle and get an identified driver, with photo and plate, plus an emergency button during the trip. Drivers receive only their own offers in an app built for the street, and passengers pay them directly, in cash or via Bre-B.
